The Tweakments Guide team spearheaded by Alice Hart-Davis have collated an extensive library of information, a vetted database of renowned practitioners and a range of products. To help the user find pertinent information quickly EC have developed a chatbot to guide the user to the appropriate resource, practitioner or product.
A chatbot is a combination of three key elements, the natural language understanding, the conversation management and the user interface; While there are off the shelf software services for natural language understanding, the complexity, the nature of the data and other data privacy constraints might limit the ability to take full advantage of these services. Consequently, for our chatbot implementation the design and implementation of a natural language understanding service specific to the TTG domain, and a scalable conversation engine was essential. We trained the chatbot on thousand’s of text conversations with Alice and her team derived from her plethora of social media channels.
Now our conversation engine can handle any conversation relevant to the Tweakments domain.
