To serve as Product Owner / Project Manager on Elemental Concept projects as assigned, taking responsibility for ensuring that product delivery meets Client expectations and commercial commitments.


Main Responsibilities:

Product Discovery – Actively participate in Discovery Workshops to identify customer needs and define user stories and product features; Conduct market research to better understand the Client and market in which they operate.

Delivery Planning Produce a detailed backlog break down the project into milestones with assumptions and deliverables established. This required close collaboration with the Account Manager, the Technical Lead and Delivery Team.  

Backlog Management To create and continually manage the backlog for all assigned projects working in close collaboration with the Delivery Team.

Delivery Risk ReviewsTo undertake regular risk reviews across all assigned projects, documenting risks to delivery and, in collaboration with the delivery team, recommend mitigating actions. Escalating to senior management as applicable

Stakeholder ManagementTo continually manage key stakeholders, both internal and Client, proactively managing and mitigating scope creep and ensuring all stakeholders are kept up to date with project progress and are informed of any delivery risks.  Ensure full understanding of the commercials on the project.

Project Execution / Project Management Working collaboratively with key stakeholders internal and Client manage the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring that the features developed align with the business needs, contractual commitments, and delivery schedule.


  • Manage product lifecycle from conception through to release.
  • Participate in, and ensure project team adherence to, all scrum events to include sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives communicating the value behind each feature and prioritisation decision.

  • Conduct user-acceptance testing on features, ensuring a highquality product is delivered to the customer.

  • Track progress, ensuring project delivered to product specification within defined time and budget constraints.

  • Produce product materials such as use cases, product documentation, reporting and executive summaries.

  • Deliver internal training to enhance companywide product/Client knowledge

  • Act as ambassador for the product internally and externally

About You:

As an experienced Product Owner / Software Project Manager having worked across multiple products with external Clients, you will possess:

  • Solid product management and analytic skills, including a deep understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

  • Sound business acumen, gaining deep understanding of the business and competitor environment of the Clients to which you are assigned

  • Project governance – proven ability to manage project delivery to time, budget and within contract scope.

  • Experience negotiating project change requests

  • Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to navigate challenging client discussions where expectations of EC and Client may not be aligned

  • Ability to build trusted relationships across the business and with clients

  • Good judgement, with the ability to balance the wider needs of the business, the client demands and the individual project requirements

  • Ability to understand and breakdown diverse and complex information

  • Experience working with delivery teams in an Agile/ Scrum environment

  • Preferably with software background to bridge the gap between the product and technical side of product development (not essential)

The role is cross functional in nature and therefore demands a high level of collaboration with stakeholders, colleagues, and clients.

You will have proven experience planning, defining, and launching successful products with experience working under the agile methodology and adhering to scrum practices.
